Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-09.1

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Test Wizard, including our preparation products for NSW school placement tests — currently the Opportunity Class (OC) Placement Test and the Selective High School Placement Test — available at testwizard.com.au (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Kaloot Group Pty Limited (ABN 38 639 638 350), trading as Test Wizard (“we”, “us”, “Test Wizard”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

The Service is for parents and guardians (“you”, “parent”) to set up and manage test-preparation accounts for their own child or children. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms to create a parent account.

Children do not register themselves. A parent creates each child's login (username and password) from their own account, and is responsible for that child's use of the Service under that login, including keeping the credentials appropriate for the child's age.

2. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials, and any child login you create, confidential. Let us know straight away if you think an account has been accessed without permission.
  • You don't need to use your or your child's real name, school, or other identifying details when registering — a nickname or made-up display name and other placeholder details are completely fine. The one exception is your own email address, which needs to be real and one you can actually access, since it's how you log in, verify your account, and reset your password.
  • You may delete your account, or a child's account, at any time by contacting us (see §10). We'll remove the associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Access, pricing, and free offers

Access to Learning, Practice, and Test content is granted per “bundle” and may be time-limited. Access is currently provided free of charge, with no payment collected. If and when we introduce paid plans, the pricing, billing terms, and cancellation process that apply will be shown to you before you're charged, and these Terms will be updated to reflect them — we won't start charging existing free accounts without telling you first.

4. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you (and anyone using an account you're responsible for) agree not to:

  • Share a child's or parent's login with anyone outside your immediate family, or use the Service on behalf of a child who isn't your own.
  • Copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell any question, explanation, or other content from the Service.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Service's systems or security.
  • Use the Service for anything unlawful, or in a way that could harm us, other families, or the Service itself.

5. Content and intellectual property

All questions, explanations, learning content, design, and branding on the Service are owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You're given a personal, non-transferable licence to use this content for your own family's test-preparation, and no other purpose.

Test Wizard is an independent test-preparation product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NSW Department of Education, which administers the OC and Selective High School placement tests, or any school. References to the real tests' structure, timing, or question types are for educational and informational purposes only.

6. No guaranteed outcomes

Test Wizard is a practice and preparation tool. We don't and can't guarantee any particular test score, ranking, or placement outcome for any child, however they use the Service. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

7. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and working correctly, but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access — content, features, and these Terms may change as the Service develops. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we make a material change; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, or that we reasonably believe is being misused. You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time — see §10.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, to the maximum extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.

10. Contact and complaints

For account deletion requests, questions about these Terms, or anything else, contact us at hello@testwizard.com.au.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
